Don’t worry if you missed Part I, you can find that post here!
We walked and walked and roamed and roamed during our last few days in Berlin. This city just has so much to explore and discover, and we tried our hardest to cover as much ground as possible. There was just so much to soak in.
On the way to grabbing a quick bite to eat, we managed to find a really awesome flea market. We must have just been at the right place at the right time because this place was incredible. So many hidden treasures! One of my favorites things ever is stumbling upon a random market. It doesn’t really matter what type market it might be, I just love strolling past all the stalls and vendors.
After saying our goodbyes to Switzerland, we packed up, threw on our way-too-heavy backpacks and hopped on the train to make our way east to Germany. Our time in Munich flashed before our eyes, literally. We only had about 24 hours in this city. We were eager to start exploring, but there was one tiny setback. It was cold, wet and rainy. You know, the perfect kind of weather to curl up in a fluffy duvet and binge on Netflix. I won’t lie, that idea was quite tempting and we even considered it for a split second.
I’m so excited to share the mini film Derek created of our time in Berlin. This short snippet makes me so happy. We only had three days to explore this amazing city, but we certainly made our short time count. I’ll be sure to post more about Berlin soon. But for now, check out the clip below!
