So now that I’ve managed to post Part One and Two of our wedding, I lastly wanted to share a few of the photographs taken during my bridal session with Blueberry Creative.
I have my mom to thank for these. I remember thinking over and over how there was not going to be enough time for us to squeeze in this session, with us living in NYC and all, but she was she was so keen on me having a portrait to display at the wedding. She kept telling saying if I didn’t have these photos taken, I would one day regret it. And just like everything else, she was right and I cannot thank her enough for being so persistent!
Just as I mentioned Friday, Claire came up to visit us here in the city last weekend. And just as any other, the weekend flew by. It was so much fun to have her here, even if just for a few days. Twas a nice little taste of home.
I think it’d be safe to say we maximized her time here with exploring. Below are some pictures I took during the moments I remembered to bring out my camera. But be warned, it’s a bit picture-overload.
I can still vividly remember all the nerves that were rapidly flowing through my veins the day of our wedding. Bits of excitement and pieces of anxiety. The day I had dreamed of for so, so long, and the day so many of us had spent planning for was finally here.
This past week, Derek and I received the greatest surprise in the mail. One we have anxiously been awaiting for weeks. And yes, I’m talking about our photos from the wedding. As soon as we stuck the usb into the computer and pulled up all 656 images, we were stunned with what all appeared on the screen. Absolutely blown away. With every single shot. I don’t know how these talented fellows do what they do, but we both feel so incredibly blessed to have had the chance to work with the team at Blueberry Creative.
Well, it’s been almost a month since Derek’s family came to visit us here in New York, and I’m finally getting around to uploading some of the pictures taken on my iPhone!
It was so much fun showing them around the city and taking them to some of our favorite spots. One of my favorite highlights from the weekend was when we took the family to Central Park. It’s one of the most enchanting places in all of New York, and one of my personal favorites…if you haven’t noticed!
Since it’s apparently Nation Dog Day, I just couldn’t let these last few hours slip by without doing a doggie dedication to our beloved Henry Thomas. Whether it’s us constantly holding you, or consistently dressing you up for Mom’s annual Christmas card, you have no idea, Henry how much joy you bring to all of our lives daily.
