4 Inspirational Books to Read Right Now

I’ve been on a major book kick lately.

Ever since I attended The Bay Area Book Festival in Berkeley (not as nerdy as it sounds…) about a month ago, I’ve had this bubbling urge of motivation to read. I mean, worse things to become addicted to, right? Oh, but can I tell you a slightly embarrassing story? Cool, here it goes. I may or may not have gone on a library binge and requested about 18 books one night. See, I didn’t expect them to all be ready so fast since I was on the wait-list for some, but then I received an email saying 10 were already for pick-up.

Yes, 10 books. At once.

The guy at the counter looked at me like I was crazy as I walked up to check them out. I guess you can say I’ve been taking full advantage of my library card. Go ahead, call me a bookworm. I guess I deserve it after that last sentence. I know you’re probably thinking it. It’s OK, really. Derek already labeled me as that anyway.

But hey, after watching hours upon hours (upon hours…) of mindless shows on Netflix, and losing more brain cells than I desired, I thought it was about time to switch up how I spent my nights.

And you know what? I can’t tell you how much inspiration I’ve uncovered. You know those kinds of books where you just can’t set them down, you lose track of time, and then a day has passed and somehow you’ve devoured the entire thing? Well, the list I have for you below is filled with those type books. Each packed with inspiration, love, acceptance, and living life to the fullest.

Sounds amazing, right?

So if you’re seeking inspirational page-turners, look no further…

Good suggestions! I hadn’t heard of these before!! I always want to read more, but then I never do. Sometimes I wish the Internet was not invented!!! Too distracting!

    • HA, I feel the exact same way!! I sometimes wish for more hours in the day, but then wonder if I’d spend them online 😉
