Before moving to San Francisco, I had absolutely no clue how many pockets of nature there were in this city. Let’s see, there’s Fort Funston, Mt. Davidson, Twin Peaks, and Lands End, just to name a few. As you can probably imagine, the list goes on and on, which is one of the many reasons I have been having a blast exploring.
When Grace came to visit not too long ago, we stumbled upon yet another scenic splendor.
Tucked in-between quaint residential neighborhoods, Glen Canyon Park is a true gem and has so much to offer. This park is quite the oasis for anyone seeking to escape the city hustle, without technically leaving the city. Hiking trails. Sports fields. Picnic areas. You name it, and most likely, this spot has it. The best part? It’s free (!!) and surprisingly not at all crowded.
Looking for a space to relax, unwind and clear your mind? Well, my friend, this canyon is your answer.
