Fall is really doing a number on Prospect Park this year, and I say that in the best way possible. The foliage has been absolutely breathtaking, especially during these last two weeks. I think the leaves must be at their peak. Fiery reds and golden hues are bursting from the branches and they’re slowly letting go, blanketing the ground. It’s becoming hard to walk a few steps without hearing that sudden crunch underfoot. It’s okay though, I’m kind of digging every minute of this change.
We’ve been lucky here in New York, because this fall has been a warm one. Aside from a few sporadic cold days, the temperatures have stayed, for the most part, between the 60s and 70s. Since I’m no way ready for the cold to settle in for good, I find these days to be quite lovely. It’s the perfect weather to be outside, enjoying all the goodness around.
Brooklyn, you’re really spoiling us with all this beauty. No complaints here, though. Keep it coming!
