While I do love a good baking session, it’s pretty much a no-go in the summer. When you’ve got a tight, cramped, NYC kitchen, and no central air – only one window unit – the 90-degree temps and a scorching hot oven don’t go so well together. However, when Claire & Jenna visited a few weeks ago, I made an exception and cooked up these delicious, sweet lavender biscuits. The heat of the kitchen turned out to be oh so worth it.
These things were super easy to make (and quick, too) and tasted out of this world. Warm, sweet and fluffy. And the fact that they had fresh lavender from when we visited the farm in the North Fork made them that more special.
