Mom & Grace Take on NYC

It’s always such a special treat to have faces from home come visit us in the city. Of course it was no different when Mom & Grace flew up for a few days not too long ago.

Since we haven’t been back to North Carolina since Christmas, I was literally counting down till their visit.

It was so nice catching up and chatting at some of our favorite places to eat.

Since this was their first time seeing our new neighborhood, we took a lot of time to explore the new area.

And yes, we made sure to take every photo op along the way!

I was thrilled to see spring in the air at the Grand Army Plaza Farmers Market.

Even though there were still piles & piles of snow that hadn’t gotten the memo to melt.

With all the walking, we thought it was only fitting to take in plenty of mojito happy hours!

Overall, I think the best time was had at Milon in the East Village. This place just screams celebration.

Derek and I have eaten here twice before (here and here.) Yet, each time we go, the decor never ceases to amaze us!

So. Much. Fun.

Ah, I miss these two faces already!
