City Guides: Park Slope / Carroll Gardens

Park Slope -- Carroll Gardens City Guide Title Page

Hi guys!

Over the past year-and-a-half, it’s been such a pleasure exploring all that New York City has to offer. It truly is an incredible place to call home, even if it is just for a bit. There has been so many times where I’m walking down the streets, and I kind of have to stop myself and just look around, taking in everything that’s around me. I feel extremely lucky to have the chance to embrace it all. One of my favorite things about this extraordinary place is that it’s constantly changing. New restaurants and exhibits popping up every second. And well the list could go on and on.

That’s why I thought it’d be a lot of fun to compile a list of all our favorite places Derek and I have found to eat (yes, mostly brunch!) and things to see and do. Since this city can seem quite overwhelming in size, I thought it’d be best to list everything out by neighborhood, as part of my very own city guides!

Of course, I had to begin this new series with our absolute favorite place, Park Slope. Not only is this place close to our hearts because it’s now the place we call home, but it also has some of our favorite spots in all of NYC! Since Carroll Gardens is so close, and there’s a ton of cool stuff to do there as well, I figured I’d compile the list with both neighborhoods!
