Stitching Stockings with Love Taza

While it’s not technically time for the Christmas season quite yet, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stitch stockings last Thursday night at West Elm with my all-time favorite NYC blogger, Naomi Davis of Love Taza. I’ve been an avid reader of her blog way before I even moved to the city, so when I read she and her husband were hosting this crafty event, I of course reserved tickets right away. Thankfully, Derek was up for attending as well — he’s such a good sport with these things.

Regardless of the fact that Thanksgiving hasn’t even happened yet, this night of festivities certainly got me into the Christmas spirit. Especially since we spent right much of the evening singing Christmas carols all while sipping hot chocolate and nibbling on rosemary-sugared donut holes. Not to even mention how amazingly decorated the entire West Elm store was. Not going to lie, leaving there made me want to go straight home to our apartment and start dragging out all the lights and what not. Well, we did at least leave out our stockings.

Below are just a few images I managed to take throughout the evening.
