As if we weren’t anxious enough to finally pack up our tent for a week and actually lay our heads on pillows in real beds, our anticipation soared even higher when we were forced to a complete stop because of California traffic! Since there was a toll right before entering the bridge- the only thing that stood between us and the beautiful San Francisco, we drove up to what appeared to be a parking lot.. However, after about 45 minutes battling all of the ferocious city drivers, we made it to our “new” home for the week.
I had the chance of visiting this city five years ago, but never have been able to stay in one of the Victorian homes that are treasured throughout these streets. After merely opening the door, I knew I was in for a treat. Since then, only two days later, I can tell it is going to be a bittersweet moment when I must say goodbye to these walls. Not only has this house exceeded any expectations I had for our stay, it has given me inspiration of what I want in my own home one day. Everything about this house is so precious and charming- Quite quaint if I do say so myself. It even had its own lemon tree!!
